I love handwritten notes, there’s something so personal about a hand written note or letter. Whether it be a thank you, a postcard or a love note. Someone’s taken the time to express their thoughts and emotions. It’s heart warming.
I have received many hand written notes and I always keep them- they are all precious. I have some thank you letters and drawings from backstage visitors whilst I wad working on School of Rock. I also have many thank you letters and cards from brides- I love the connection I get when working on their wedding.
As a bride you want someone who’s supportive, friendly, trustworthy, encouraging and calm. I am so much more than simply a hair stylist, you become a friend and confidante, someone who takes away the stress and grounds the bride and her party all while creating beautiful hairstyles and ensuring the day runs smoothly and to time.
Sally Kate Duboux is a bridal hairstylist based in Essex but serving the whole of the UK and international clients too. She has had a career styling hair and making wigs and facial postiche for film and television.
