I have quite a few letters that I treasure, many of them are from the pre digital age - that precious time before the mobile phone! Letters from friends and love letters from boyfriends of the past.
But my favourite most treasured letters are the little notes from my children. Either to me, or to the tooth fairy, or to Father Christmas. They represent the magic of childhood, the excitement of these big events, and I will always keep them close to my heart.
I keep some of them in the drawer of my bedside table, and even though my children are much bigger now, I will always love these little mementoes of their childhood.
