Bond green Indian silk douppion cushion decorated with a 1800's French silk ribbon. The pocket at the back of the cushion is in Ruby red silk with matching zip. The ribbon comes form the archive of Julien Faure, St. Etienne.
The ribbon comes from french ribbon maker Julien Faure's archive, one of the only ribbon makers who has survived into the 21st century. They now specialise in Haute Couture ribbons for luxury houses such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes and Prada amongst others.
